For an international project, we are urgently looking for a Senior Java developer for our office in Colombo. Candidates need to be available within 2 to 4 weeks!
Candidates need to be fluent in English. Candidates need to be willing to work at least 3 days in our office! Candidates need to be willing to work European hours.
Tasks and responsibilities;
- Gather requirements and prepare wire-frames, when required;
- Technical analysis of business requirements to produce specifications;
- Draft and update use cases, when required;
- Implement POC, when required;
- Develop applications, modules and libraries as per finalized requirements and design and under agreed quality standards and security paradigm;
- Prepare unit test cases and plans;
- Follow guidelines from Control, Quality and Procedures Section: JIRA workflow, DevOps and build strategies, software development standards and best practices, security instructions, segregation of duties…;
- Ensure documentation of software/changes is maintained and at quality according to internal standards and industry best practices;
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +5 years of hands-on experience supporting Java application development and deployment in a AWS Cloud environment;
- Experience with AWS Cloud and Docker;
- Experience with Javascript, JSF, PrimeFaces;
- Experience with XML, XSLT, and other XML-oriented tools;
- Experience with SOA (REST);
- Experience with Eclipse, WildFly, Tomcat, SVN, Maven, Nexus;
- Experience with JIRA;
- Fluent in English;
