Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack – Java Employee

A Software development company based in Sri Lanka is looking for Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack – Java to welcome to their team.
Our client provides an offshore wide range of web and mobile application solutions and software development service all around the globe.
The Role:
  • Implement distributed and highly robust enterprise applications that scale to enterprise demands.
  • The design and development of enterprise solutions for large mobile operators across South East Asia.
  • Adhere to DevOps principles and be involved in projects throughout their full software lifecycle – from development, QA, deployment, to post-production support.
  • Working and managing tight knit agile teams developing robust, mobile, web, and enterprise solutions.
  • Adhere to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of solutions.
  • Ensure high code quality by following software engineering best practices.
  • Work collaboratively in a cross functional team in an Agile delivery environment.
The Profile:
  • Extensive, full-stack experience with technologies and architectures such as RESTful APIs (define with swagger/open API specs.), microservices, Java, Spring, Spring Web Flux, HTML5, Angular, React, CSS, Bootstrap, SSO integration with OAuth, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Non-Relational Databases (MongoDB /Elasticsearch), Linux, Containers, Virtual Machines.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and prior experience working with Cloud IaaS or PaaS providers such as AWS, GCP or Azure will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with mobile application development will be an advantage (iOS and/or Android).
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and 2-3 + years of experience developing production enterprise applications, and in managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Expert in object-oriented design, design patterns and data structures
  • Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment.
