A software development company based in Sri Lanka is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team.
Our client is an expert in business development and provides business solutions to their end-users. Our client consists of the most talented and skilled technology professionals in Sri Lanka who serve leading Telecommunication, Banking & Financial Services Institutes, Public, and Enterprise Sectors across key technology verticals.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Build and optimize “Big data” data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
- Developing Engineering patterns, frameworks, and best practices
- Developing and maintaining enterprise Data warehouse / Data Lake
- Writing ETL processes and data modeling tasks.
- Acting as a technical lead providing guidance to others
Profile
- Strong Communicator who has previous experience partnering with different teams and business functions.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within a Data focused role.
- Strong ETL and data modeling skills are a must.
- Strong skills with SQL.
- A passionate and eager problem solver.
- Demonstrated capabilities of robust technical capabilities.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with the Hadoop ecosystem.
