A local development center of a global conglomerate is looking for a Database Administrator.
Our client caters with the highest art technology to build products that enables to perform a large number of trade deals and contains numerous information and data related to the deals. Profile
  • Minimum 4-5yrs experience in EDB PostgreSQL DB architecture, SQL scripting, load testing, and DevOps methodology
  • Prior experience in administering a multi-user environment, planning designing, building, and implementing.
  • Experience in Installing and configuring the PostgreSQL monitoring tools and Oracle to PostgreSQL database migration using tools
  • Experience in Linux (CentOS 7/8), Oracle MYSQL
  • Certified EDB PostgreSQL DBA will be an added advantage
Job Role
  • Monitor and manage database indexes and query optimization and troubleshooting
  • Design and develop logical and physical PostgreSQL database designs from application requirements in a multi-node and multisite environment.
  • Develop, implement and maintain database backup and recovery procedure for the processing environment (critical/tier-1 application).and ensures that data integrity, security, and recoverability are built into the DBMS applications
  • Proactive in updating the latest security patches to enterprise PostSQL database configuring log analysis tools.
  • ensuring optimal database performance through exhaustive pro-active testing and ongoing real-time monitoring
  • Testing database security and enterprise policy guidelines according to establish best practices
  • Closely working with the development team for code migration and performance testing
